The high school he attends St. Francesca Academy used to be an all-girls school, and still has a high percentage of female students. Akihito's younger sister Umi Hayasaka and his childhood friend Yuika Serizawa are also students there. Akihito meets many girls there, and becomes friends with them.

He used to attend another school, named Takamiya Academy, last year until it closed due to financial difficulties. He is the only male student in his class. His class 2-V is also called "Soleil". Francesca Academy, Fuyurugi is the sempai everyone looks up to. She uses an archaic style of speech, and carries herself in a cool and gracious way. Due to her strict personality, she can sometimes be too serious about things, but she sometimes has trouble handling her finances.

She is a relative of Ririka that she likes a lot and of Hirotsugu who is also her childhood friend. Francesca academy starting this spring with their childhood friend Yuika who's already a student of this academy since her first year.

She is very friendly with her classmate Sonya , they are already inseparable. She is docile, serious, kind and polite in both manners and speech. In particular, she avoids talking about her upbringing. Not one to usually look anyone in the eye, possibly because she never really got into any kind of group of people. She is also a nun in training, and thus spends a lot of time cleaning at the local church with her mother Mai.

She is very friendly with her classmate Umi , they are already inseparable. She is very good at making her own stuffed animals. She always makes two copies, one representing the mother and the other representing her daughter. She also likes to visit young orphans to make shows with her stuffed animals.

She is a calm and gentle third-year student. She meets Akihito when he finds an abandoned puppy. Ayaka often reads books in the courtyard, and smiles when Akihito comes to talk to her.

Akihito is charmed by her kindness when she brings him a homemade bento. However, even Akihito gets perplexed when she gets overly sensitive about family matters and paintings. Reika often compares the relationship between Satsuki and Ayaka as being similar to that between a legal guardian and his adopted child. Ayaka is very assertive with Akihito, she's pretty "touchy" with him; she often takes his hand, resting against his shoulder or letting him rest on her thighs.

She also invites him to walk with Orange her dog and also invites him to eat at her place. Riru loves cute girls, and she often gets into arguments with Akihito when she talks about it. There are even times when she says mean things to Akihito or makes fun of him on purpose. She is a spontaneous and easy-going girl, cheerful all year round and liked by everyone. Not very good at sports, but excellent at studying. From a rather rich family, but still likes to challenge herself and find new types of cooking to experiment with.

One of Akihito 's classmates. She is inseparable from Natsuko , with whom she shares her humor. She and her friend are in perpetual hunt for finding a pretty and cute girl. They love to "touch" Umi , they find her very cute. Fuyuko often expresses her desire to own Umi for herself alone. She even calls Akihito: "Akihito-oniisama". It is quite difficult to determine whether her actions are real or just to joke. It is also impossible to really determine her real sexual orientation heterosexual, lesbian or bisexual.

We can sometimes see some of the conversations she has with her friend, apparently their "hunt" is absolutely not fruitful this year. She is one of the only girls who speaks easily with Oikawa , because she shares the same passions as him. Yuuki is the classmate of Akihito and Riru , she is also in the same club as Riru and Reika , whom she idolizes.

She isn't very talkative and gives the impression of being very cold. He is a relative of Ririka and of Kisaya who is also his childhood friend. Mai is a nun who's always around the church or at the girl's dorm. She's the mother of Sonya. She's very kind and friendly, very womanly despite having an interesting and original personality. She is the kind of person we love very easily.

Ririka is one of the relatives of Kisaya , she likes her a lot. She is also a relative of Hirotsugu but she is afraid of him. Reika is a third grade student and is the head of the swimming club.
