Message 1 of 8. Multiple Help Selections in the Additional Help dropdown. After installing several plugins, I now have multiple selections in my additional help dropdown from the help dropdown menu.
Some of the different plugins have nearly 50 selections. Is it Possible to reduce this to 1 so I don't have a cluttered and messy additional help menu? Message 2 of 8. It's in plugin. I think it happened when I installed the Creativity extension. Message 3 of 8. So how do we fix it, and this is also occurring in my Max so it's not just the creativity extension installation that is doing it. I have Max 9 as well and it is the same Multiple helps in all three versions.
I once knew how to fix the problem there was a thread in here but I cannot find it. Hopefully someone responds with a cure soon. Thanks Rich Ok I found the problem! It is in the location you speak of, over 50 repeated lines of help for the same thing. That was the max I created a temp notepad file and copy and pasted the entire plugin. What a mess! Thanks for the clue friend.
Rich Well even after the edit to the plugin. Thanks Rich. Message 4 of 8. I just removed all the duplicated lines and still got 2 entries in the dropdown list for each help file. So I removed all of them and my list now appears to be correct - 1 entry per help file. However, you should note that I do not have any 3rd party plugins - you have so you need to be careful about what you remove and what you don't. Keep a copy of the original and try it removing them all , if some are missing from the list, add them back in to the ini.
The list is obviously duplicated somewhere - I need to hunt around and find out where, but it's clear that the default "extra help" backburner, FBX, mr reference etc shouldn't be in that ini to begin with - only the help for plugins should be listed in there. A parametric 3D model was used to get the seductive shell shape just right and also to generate the drawings for construction. There was no focus here on performance, environment, or cost.
The sleek pavilion, which looks a bit like a flying handbag — recently landed in Hong Kong and fashionistas and archi-tourists are lined up around the block. In light of all of this, Steele worries about the future of architecture in respect to explorations in architectural form. Parametric design is allowing architecture a chance to catch up to the new advances in technology and communications.
But with so many options, is architecture headed towards a crisis of formal exhaustion? Was building simpler in the past, with fewer options? Terri Peters is a writer and designer based in London. ECOTECT is driven by the concept that environmental design principles are most effectively addressed during the conceptual stages of design.
The software responds to this by providing essential visual and analytical feedback from even the simplest sketch model, progressively guiding the design process as more detailed information becomes available. The model is completely scalable, handling simple shading models to full-scale cityscapes.
Its extensive export facilities also make final design validation much simpler by interfacing with Radiance, EnergyPlus and many other focused analysis tools. CAD and environmental design experience useful but not essential. ECOTECT is good at teaching the novice environmental designer many of the important concepts necessary for efficient building design.
Extensive help file and tutorials provided. Architects, engineers, environmental consultants, building designers, and some owner builders and enthusiasts. Intuitive 3D CAD interface allows validation of the simplest sketch design to highly complex 3D models.
Tables of data can also be easily output. Allows the user to "play" with design ideas at the conceptual stages, providing essential analysis feedback from even the simplest sketch model. Like any analysis program it's a matter of, "garbage in, garbage out I introduce the invisible art of camera tracking from the ground up here. So in this tutorial you also get a chance to learn the art of Matchmoving from an introductory level. Combining computer generated CG characters with live-action footage can be a very rewarding experience.
It has traditionaly been very difficult to make the digital character realistically seem to be a part of the real world. But now, the cat's out of the bag, and i am going to show how. One of the challenges in making a CG character part of a real background is making the character move in exactly the same way the camera was moving in the real world.
Gorton's book helps resolve this predicament. It concisely describes the essential elements of knowledge and key skills required to be a software architect. The explanations encompass the essentials of architecture thinking, practices, and supporting technologies. They range from a general understanding of software structure and quality attributes, through technical issues like middleware components and documentation techniques, to emerging technologies like model-driven architecture, software product lines, aspect-oriented design, service-oriented architectures, and the Semantic Web, all of which will influence future software system architectures.
All approaches are illustrated by an ongoing real-world example. So if you work as an architect or senior designer or want to someday , or if you are a student in software engineering, here is a valuable and yet approachable source of knowledge.
Home Plan Pro 5. Home Plan Pro provides a full array of graphic tool buttons to let you easily pick a tool or action. Once you choose a tool, Home Plan Pro tells you how to use it. You may use the mouse or keyboard, or both, to create your plan. Home Plan Pro gives you many choices for printing your plans. You may select a specific scale, or elect to have your plan printed at the largest size that will fit on the paper you select.
