No sound or vibration when receiving sms. I been getting that alot with mine, It would keep saying media error on the screen. So I took the battery out and rebooted and the sound comes back lol.

Does anyone have an alternate file location? I have had all issues you guys have had. I found that when the restoration came, it flaked out my BB. I finally said screw it and did not do a backup. I started fresh. No external applications loaded. I did that on my own later. Just make sure you back up your contacts.

If I were you I would download the latest officially released OS 5 version of the blackberry software. It works like a champ and there is no reason to still be trying to use a 4.
